All residents enjoy free membership to the lake and are welcome to bring a friend. Residents can borrow rowboat, kayak, canoe, paddleboat, or SUP boards for 2 hours at a time. Boats are available on a first come, first serve basis. Arbour Lake also hosts summer camps, programs, and special events. In the winter residents can ice skate right on the lake.

There’s no need to travel to downtown Calgary for a nice meal. Arbour Lake’s Crowfoot Crossing, the largest shopping centre in the city, is filled with popular retail stores and a Cineplex Odeon. Casual and fine dining restaurants, along with fast food and family restaurant surround the shopping centre. Pizza shops and cafes can be found throughout the community. 

You’ll find elementary schools, a high school, and several daycare centres throughout the neighbourhood, along with numerous parks, playgrounds, and nature trails. There’s also a YMCA offering swim lessons, aerobics, and other programs for all ages.

Travelling around the city from Arbour Lake is easy with immediate access to the Crowchild Trail Expressway and Highway 201. You’ll also have access to Calgary Transit with bus stops across the Arbour Lake community connecting you to downtown and other key areas.
